ALS Mechatronic needed a web-based system that would allow technicians to log timesheets, create daily site reports, view customer data, and purchase order data. The system would need to be accessible to remote and office-based users and link to SAP Business One.
Build it.
ALS Mechatronic and SMEXPAND worked together to build a bespoke solution that included standard modules and a new screen for timesheets and daily site reports. Timesheets were linked to an approval process and master data was synced from SAP Business One.
What happened next?
After setup and testing, ALS Mechatronic went live with timesheets. Technicians could enter timesheets remotely with an easy-to-use interface. Operational staff could approve timesheets from the dashboard and export them from ONEXPAND using the built-in Excel export tool.
All approved timesheets synced back to SAP Business One via the standard integration.
Visibility was enhanced by syncing master data from SAP Business One, including customers, suppliers, stock, and projects.
